Westlink is pleased to present the West Australian Opera's live performance of The Barber of Seville by Rossini in real time from the Supreme Court Gardens, Perth to regional WA.

Synopsis: Immerse yourself in the outrageous antics of one of opera's favourite characters, Figaro, as he devises one intrigue after another to help Count Almaviva win the heart of the beautiful Rosina.

Westlink is a Western Australian Government owned and operated television station and is part of the Department of Regional Development's Business and Social Development Division.

Regional WA schools, TAFE colleges, CRCs and hospitals receive the Westlink channel.

Westlink delivers a range of satellite television programs to more than 150 regional and remote communities throughout Western Australia as well as those in the general public who have access to a VAST (Viewer Access Satellite Television) satellite receiver, Channel 602.

Westlink programs cover education and training, professional development, seminars and public information. Programs can be pre-recorded or live to air. Interaction with the audience is possible via email and a toll free telephone number during live broadcasts.
